5 Additional Bonus
Points are available to those who correctly complete
the following:
A 4 kg globe of radius 0.15 meters, treat as a spherical shell, is supported by an
axle running through the north and south poles. A string (massless)
is securely wrapped around the equator of the globe and pulled a total distance of
5 meters with a tension of 28 N, causing the globe to have a constant angular
acceleration. Determine the final angular velocity (rad/s) of the globe.
